First Light was established in 1981 as a Lighting Supply Company in Harahan La.  The last 25 years, the company specialized in supplying lighting fixtures, lamps and ballast.  First Light catered to the commercial, industrial, and institutional markets. 

First Light has continued to provide its customers with service and products to meet the changing market.  In 1994, First Light tested for and was granted a Louisiana State License for “Lighting Efficiency Systems and Service”. This license recognizes our ability to provide efficient lighting through proper design. 

Through the 1990’s and in recent years, First Light successfully completed dozens of large hotel and commercial lighting projects. 

With our ability to purchase material direct, in house expertise and numerous outside consultants; First Light is your best choice when considering a lighting upgrade or lighting design. 

After extensive damage to our Harahan facility, we remodeled our facility and added a decorative showroom.  This showroom gives a good example of what is available from the dozens of manufacturers we represent.
